Absolutely charming room; turned out to be part of a P.G. historical home. Nice surprise to have two bedroom set up (one king, one double bed)
Would have been great to have tv in smaller room.
Its location, and the room was refreshingly spacious after staying in smaller more modern hotel rooms elsehwere during our travels through the west coast. Good idea having continental breakfast available and included in rate.
No wine glasses (or similar) in the room to drink your lovely Napa Valley wines from. Otherewise, no complaints at all.
Rooms were older, but spotlessly clean. Very quiet and well- located...within walking distance of downtown Pacific Grove and the ocean.
Complimentary continental breakfast was minimal and only fair quality.
Very pleased with the location, services and accommodations. We spoke with the manager/owner and she was delightful - very friendly and helpful. Will gladly return.
The person who checked us in acted very bored and aloof - it would have been really nice to have a friendly welcome.
Conveniently located to the Monterrey Aquarium. Room was large with 2 queen beds. The room was clean and the a/c and heat both worked. The hotel staff was attentive and the price was very reasonable.
We stayed in Room 3 and the walls are very thin and so at 12;30am we needed to knock on the wall to alert the people in the room next to us that they were being too loud. The Continental breakfast could be improved.
We loved our stay!! Being right there next to the Butterfly Grove was fantastic!! Staff were extremely helpful!! The high ceilings with beams were so artistic! Also, excellent website for check-in!!
I could not belive how clean the whole campus was. Large room with view of the pool. Verry happy with our visit.
Hot alittle too hot for me. Wife liked it.
I loved the spacious rooms, vaulted ceilings, and grounds. My kids enjoyed the pool. The breakfast was fresh and better than most.
One of the beds was uncomfortable. I could feel the springs/coils.
Quiet place near to nature/wildfile and a 5 min drive to main town
As i stayed over weekend, prices are a little on the high side considering the facilities of a lodge
Location, quiet at night, helpful and friendly staff
Breakfast and being charged for water
It was quiet, and homey. The grounds were inviting, and pretty.
The continental breakfast was ok. Need to use 1/2 and1/2 not powdered creamer.
Staff very helpful. Great walking location to the beach & path.
The rooms are a bit old
Price was $99 a night- place and simple- no extra anything- kind of cold and icky. Served a light breakfast- didn't eat it.
We loved the deer and the adjacent nature preserve!
Some tiles were missing in the hot tub, which made it seem unkempt.
Very nice and comfortable big rooms, good coffee up front & dog friendly as well.
